Job Description

 

As an Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Architect, you will be pivotal in translating complex client content management needs into robust technical designs. You will create/enahnce enterprise-level architecture and implement strategies across the Adobe AEM platform to support diverse environments including multi-site, multi-channel, and multi-lingual delivery. Your role will encompass serving as an AEM subject matter expert, defining end-to-end architecture for web platforms, providing technology leadership, and influencing strategic thinking. Additionally, you will support and mentor application teams ensuring optimal integration and functionality.

 

Responsibilities

  • Architect and support design of digital consumer experiences using Adobe’s AEM suite, including WCM, DAM, and Social Collaboration.
  • Provide support to design features like multi-site/channel delivery, personalization, content aggregation, multilingual support, automated workflow, and social media integration.
  • Engage with clients to define complete specifications for content and collaboration solutions, and present architectural decisions to stakeholders
  • Apply an advanced understanding of AEM and integrate other Adobe solutions such as Analytics and Campaign for enhanced decision-making.
  • Guide and provide architectural guard rails to support the development of OSGI bundles, AEM templates, HTL/Sightly components, AEM Mobile, and Forms applications, as well as AEM DAM focusing on maximizing AEM capabilities and reducing maintenance costs
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to content management systems.
  • Analyze process issues related to content management system to guide organization to adopt best practices
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure high standards of code quality and appropriate use of design patterns.

 

Qualifications

  • Extensive experience with Adobe Experience Manager and a solid understanding of core web technologies (XML, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, RESTful services).
  • Proficient in Java, Java EE, Servlets, HTL/Sightly, and enterprise frameworks like Spring.
  • Strong grasp of Day CQ/AEM foundational concepts (Apache Sling, Apache Felix) and AEM development and deployment processes.
  • Experience in handling multiple large-scale AEM implementations (AEM 6.x or later).
  • Knowledgeable in SDLC methodologies, particularly Agile and SCRUM.
  • Experience with Adobe Analytics and Commerce,
  • Experience with Campaign, Marketo Engage, Target, or equivalent technologies is highly desirable.

 

Experience and Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Adobe Certified Master: Adobe Experience Manager Sites Architect certification.
  • Adobe RTCDP Certification.
  • 15+ years in the IT industry, with 10+ years in the Adobe ecosystem.
  • 5+ years leading large, geographically dispersed teams and in senior technical leadership roles.
  • 2+ years architecting solutions specifically for the Adobe Experience Platform.
  • 2+ years in a leading management consulting firm where you have directly advised clients on complex technological solutions.
  • Innovative and strong problem-solving skills with a solution-focused attitude.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and mentor teams.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated experience effectively collaborating and delivering in a highly matrixed environment

  • A competitive pay range of $150K - $200K (depending on experience).
  • 15 days per year of Paid Time Off (PTO).
  • 9 paid holidays per year (which includes 1 personal floating holiday).
