Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:

Business Program Coordinator with 5+ years of experience supporting Microsoft programs, startup ecosystem initiatives, business operations, and cross-functional project execution. Strong background in program governance, stakeholder engagement, business communications, operational process management, and Microsoft internal systems. Proven ability to coordinate multiple workstreams, drive operational excellence, and support strategic business initiatives in fast-paced environments.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

 

Program Operations & Business Coordination

  • Supported end-to-end program operations across Microsoft startup initiatives, ensuring alignment of business priorities, program objectives, and execution milestones.
  • Coordinated project planning, resource management, progress tracking, risk mitigation, and operational governance activities to support successful program delivery.
  • Partnered with cross-functional stakeholders including business leaders, program managers, finance, procurement, vendors, and external partners to drive execution and resolve operational issues.
  • Maintained governance frameworks, operational trackers, reporting mechanisms, and documentation repositories to ensure transparency and compliance.

Startup Ecosystem Engagement

  • Drove operational support for startup community programs and ecosystem initiatives across the Greater China Region (GCR).
  • Developed program communications, startup success stories, business updates, and engagement materials to strengthen program visibility and founder participation.
  • Coordinated startup-focused events, workshops, webinars, and ecosystem activities, ensuring seamless planning and execution.
  • Monitored engagement metrics and program effectiveness, providing insights to improve community participation and program impact.

Executive Communications & Reporting

  • Prepared executive-level presentations, business reviews, operational reports, and leadership updates for internal stakeholders.
  • Developed clear and concise business narratives, transforming complex operational data into actionable insights and decision-ready materials.
  • Drafted business correspondence, meeting summaries, strategic briefings, and project communications for senior leadership and partner organizations.

Process & Operations Excellence

  • Identified opportunities for workflow optimization and operational efficiency improvements across program execution processes.
  • Supported Microsoft internal operational processes, including procurement requests, purchase order management, financial tracking, business reporting, and vendor coordination.
  • Leveraged Microsoft internal systems and collaboration tools to manage operational activities and maintain data accuracy.
  • Ensured compliance with organizational policies, governance standards, and operational requirements.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of experience in Business Program Management, Program Coordination, Project Operations, Business Operations, or related roles.
  • Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft projects, programs, vendors, or consulting engagements within Microsoft environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience developing executive-ready presentations, reports, and business communications.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience supporting startup ecosystem programs, innovation initiatives, community engagement, or entrepreneurship-related projects.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft procurement processes, purchase order management, financial operations, and internal business systems.
  • Experience coordinating business reviews, leadership meetings, workshops, and strategic events.
  • Knowledge of project governance, operational excellence, and process improvement methodologies.
