Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Principal Infrastructure Engineer (Partner Delivery) in Mumbai/Bangalore for a  hybrid role.

 

in this advisory role you will be responsible for architecture, consulting, and support to help customers drive solutions and resolutions.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Design, implement, and manage Azure infrastructure solutions across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments.
  • Lead end-to-end cloud lifecycle activities, including planning, deployment, migration, optimization, and ongoing operations.
  • Architect and support key Azure services, including Logic Apps, Azure Arc, Backup, Site Recovery, Networking, Storage, Virtual Machines, Monitor, and Policy.
  • Provide advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex infrastructure, performance, and availability issues.
  • Deliver customer-facing consulting and support, ensuring high levels of service and alignment with business and technical requirements.
  • Implement and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud architectures aligned with Microsoft best practices and Modern IT frameworks.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud performance, cost, and reliability using Azure monitoring and insights tools.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define architecture, strategy, and roadmaps for cloud adoption and transformation.
  • Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery through Azure Backup and Site Recovery solutions.
  • Maintain documentation, provide knowledge transfer, and support enterprise customers in production environments.

 

 

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 8+ years experience with customer facing roles in systems architecture, administration, operations, software support, IT consulting, on-premises and cloud support or consulting for enterprise and/or government customer base, and advanced troubleshootingBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience
  • Broad knowledge of Azure infrastructure with deep understanding of the following: Azure Logic Apps Azure Arc, Azure Backup, Azure Site Recovery,

    Azure Networking, Azure Storage, Azure Monitor, Azure Insights, Azure Policy Azure virtual machines

  • Well rounded skills in other general areas of Azure infrastructure (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, etc)

  • Understanding of Microsoft’s Modern IT Architecture and Strategy

  • Proven track record in successfully planning, deploying, operating, and optimizing cloud environments

  • Azure certifications (Azure Solutions Architect Expert; Azure Security Engineer Associate; Azure Administrator Associate)

  • BA/BS (or higher) in Information Technology or equivalent experience

  • Expert level of Microsoft enterprise software product offerings

  • Excellent demonstrated customer service skills
