POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for Senior Data & AI Specialist in Hyderabad for a hybrid based position for our client.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Core SQL Server Administration & Engineering
• Performance Optimization & Troubleshooting
• Data Platform & Ecosystem Support
• Technical Leadership & Stakeholder Management
• Deliver immediate value with minimal ramp-up, operating as a fully independent contributor.
• Work closely with internal and external teams to resolve issues and improve system performance.
• Support shift-based work schedules (no night shifts) and occasional weekend requirements if needed.
• Be available for onsite presence based on project or client requirements.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Advanced (L300–L400) expertise in SQL Server, including core concepts, architecture, and fundamentals.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server Engine: performance tuning, high availability (Failover Clustering, Always On), migrations/upgrades, security, and maintenance.
• Proven experience across SQL Server versions and feature evolution.
• Working knowledge of Power BI, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, and Azure Data Services.
• Strong experience in production support and reactive troubleshooting, including performance, HA, migrations, patching, and security issues.
• Ability to own incident resolution end-to-end, define action plans, and drive issues to closure.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and escalation management capability.
• Effective at collaborating with stakeholders, business teams, and application owners
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to perform under pressure and handle critical situations
• High level of ownership, accountability, and commitment
• Confident in client-facing interactions
• Ability to define and propose delivery roadmaps
