Position Summary:

The Infrastructure Engineer is a customer-facing, delivery-focused technical role responsible for leading and delivering mission-critical Azure infrastructure solutions.

This role focuses on Azure Backup, Azure Local (Azure Stack HCI), and Azure Monitor, helping enterprise customers design, deploy, operate, and optimize resilient hybrid and cloud environments aligned with Microsoft best practices.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Lead delivery of Azure infrastructure solutions with a focus on data protection, hybrid platforms, and observability.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor for mission-critical and regulated workloads.
• Partner with CSAMs, other CSAs, and engineering teams to drive customer success outcomes.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience
• 8–10+ years of experience in cloud, infrastructure, or architecture roles
• Proven customer-facing delivery experience
• Growth mindset with continuous learning and skilling
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing Azure Backup solutions
• Backup and restore strategies for Azure IaaS workloads (VMs, disks, files)
• Understanding of retention, compliance, and recovery objectives (RPO / RTO)
• Integration with Azure Site Recovery and hybrid backup scenarios
• Strong experience with Azure Local / Azure Stack HCI architecture and deployment
• Hybrid infrastructure design integrating on-premises environments with Azure
• Cluster design, storage, networking, and lifecycle management
• Familiarity with Azure Arc–enabled management for hybrid platforms
• Design and implementation of monitoring strategies using Azure Monitor
• Log Analytics, metrics, alerts, and dashboards
• Monitoring for availability, performance, reliability, and operational health
• Experience supporting mission-critical workloads with proactive monitoring
• Architect solutions aligned with the Azure Well-Architected Framework
• Operational excellence, resiliency, and business continuity design
• Troubleshooting and root cause analysis for complex infrastructure issues

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Broader Azure Infrastructure experience (Compute, Networking, Storage)
• Familiarity with Azure Site Recovery and disaster recovery planning
• Experience with regulated or mission-critical customer environments
• Strong customer-facing communication and advisory skills
• Ability to explain complex architectures to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Comfortable leading workshops, architecture reviews, and technical deep dives
• Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
• Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
• Azure Stack HCI or hybrid-related certifications
