Responsibilities

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Partner Engagement & Technical Support – Participates in OEM partner meetings alongside the PDM FTE to assist with logistics, documentation, coordination, and technical support, ensuring smooth execution of engagement activities and promptly addressing partner technical inquiries or issues as they arise.
  • Sales Forecasting Assistance – Collects and organizes partner data to support the PDM FTE in developing accurate sales forecasts and identifying business trends.
  • Strategic Alignment Facilitation – Supports the PDM FTE in driving alignment with OEMs on one of the world’s most important M365 business models, including strategies for pricing, sales targets, and incentive programs.
  • Stakeholder Feedback Management – Tracks OEM feedback on strategic initiatives (e.g., new product launches) and ensures timely escalation of issues to relevant internal teams.
  • Operational Excellence – Provides general operational support across partner rhythm of business activities, while maintaining clarity that all strategic decisions and execution responsibilities reside with the PDM FTE.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Language Requirement: Native Japanese/ Advanced professional proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate fluently and effectively in complex business settings, including cross-geographic collaboration. Native-level fluency is not required, but the candidate should demonstrate a command of English that exceeds standard business level
  • Cultural Fit: The candidate should be familiar with American IT corporate culture, including communication style, meeting etiquette, and stakeholder expectations
  • Stakeholder Environment: Most internal and external stakeholders are experienced male professionals with established careers in OEM Business. The candidate should feel comfortable and confident working in this environment, supporting relationship-building and effective engagement.
  • Duration: immediately
  • Seniority Requirement: The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of progressive experience as a full-time employee (FTE) in partner development, strategic sales, or ecosystem engagement—preferably within the technology or device partner ecosystem. Experience working with OEMs is highly desirable.
  • Preferred Background: We welcome applications from candidates who are newly available due to organizational changes, restructuring, or business decisions, and not due to performance-related issues. We are seeking a mature, seasoned professional who is ready to contribute immediately.
