Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are currently hiring a Test Coordinator to support our global hardware client onsite in Vancouver, Washington. This role will support our client’s accessibility and sustainability program and the ideal candidate would benefit from experience in an ever-evolving technical team culture. This is a long-term position which offers comprehensive benefits with normal business working hours at the client’s site with a Monday-Friday work week. You must already reside locally to the client-site in Vancouver, Washington, and must already be eligible for employment in the US without visa sponsorship.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Supporting an R&D team across multiple projects.
  • Facilitate testing and research across multiple labs/teams’ procedures with a focus on data analytics and reporting.
  • Track and report on project progress for the team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, science labs, procurement, marketing) to ensure all tests are completed, recorded, and reported within project deadlines.
  • Management of communication with various teams and testing throughout the program life cycle.
  • Documentation control including maintaining project reports, specifications and other documentation.
  • Work closely with project/program owners to schedule, complete and monitor assigned projects.
  • Communicate plans and manage testing schedules.
  • Attend meetings when asked to discuss/track/report on projects and testing statuses.
  • May participate in audits or respond to inquiries from certification bodies. 
  • Flexibility to support other labs and projects, as requested.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates’ degree in Project Management is preferred, however, a high school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years relevant Project Management/Coordination experience is sufficient. 
  • Experience with hardware, software, or firmware testing of electronics is a +.
  • Excellent business communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to relate well with customers and co-workers is essential. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills. 
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. 
  • Works well under limited supervision on moderately complex assignments requiring ordinary problem resolution and independent judgment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including the use and creation of templates.
  • Demonstrated verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in test documentation and reporting is a +.
  • Ability to learn quickly and follow complex written and oral directions.
  • Flexibility and a desire to learn new tasks and assume new roles are essential.

  • A competitive pay of $20-$22/hr., based on relevant experience.
