Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Surface Partner Development Manager (PDM) is responsible for managing Thailand's Surface Authorized Device Distributors (ADD). This role is accountable for partner performance, revenue attainment, and quota achievement through comprehensive business planning and execution.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Partner Business Planning: Develop and execute joint business plans with distributors to drive sales and deployment of the complete Surface portfolio.
  • Revenue & Performance Management: Own revenue targets and ensure partners meet business objectives and goals.
  • Partner Enablement: Ensure partners are equipped to adopt Microsoft innovations, programs, and new routes to market.
  • Seller Activation: Enable partner sellers to represent Surface and Microsoft cloud offerings
    across customer opportunities.
  • Pipeline & Sales Execution: Manage opportunity pipelines, support joint selling motions, and activate repeat sales.
  • End-Customer Engagement: Support partner-led discussions with end customers for larger opportunities, advocating Surface and Microsoft solution benefits.
  • CoPilot+ PC Adoption: Drive adoption of CoPilot+ PCs, especially within the SMC and SMB segments, positioning Surface as the preferred solution.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Dynamic Communicator: Capable of leading concise, value-based discussions that engage
    and motivate large partner sales teams.
  • Self-Starter: Comfortable working independently across multiple internal organizations.
  • Collaborative Influencer: Skilled in navigating cross-group dependencies and driving
    alignment across Microsoft’s business lines
  • Proven experience in partner/channel management, business development, or sales
    leadership.
  • Working experience with IT and PC/HW industries and familiar with Thailand local PC market
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Surface and cloud ecosystem.
  • Ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
