Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

As a Sr. Build Engineer at Beyondsoft, you will work on support for Azure Stack Build Engineering, focusing on managing and maintaining the build processes for development projects. This role involves ensuring that the build environment is stable and efficient. You will work closely with development teams to integrate new code and resolve build issues.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Oversee multiple daily builds, manage branches, and ensure testing branches are up to date.
  • Apply updates, execute tests, monitor results for Windows official updates.
  • Analyze failures and assign them to appropriate owners with ADO items.
  • Automate tasks to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Maintain documentation accessible to Microsoft engineers.

Qualifications

MINIMUN QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Fluent English as working language
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or any engineering field of study.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in using common diagnostic tools like Netmon, WinDBG and Wireshark. Able to diagnose/debug and mitigate faults in complex services or systems.
  • Experience in build environments, test tools, PowerShell, VSTS, Git, and Azure Stack.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with development teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain detailed documentation for build processes and procedures.
  • Experience in automating build and deployment processes to improve efficiency.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with C#, .NET, and automation frameworks.
  • Ability to develop Cloud Services and manage them in Azure, cloud services are written in python.
  • Ability to engage FTEs to improve Developer Experience by managing automation framework for images of Azure Stack.
