Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are currently hiring a Sr. Systems/Software Engineer to support our global software client in Boise, ID. The primary responsibility of this position will be to work with the Engineering/Test team to create tests and strategies for Comon Criteria Certification. The position requires a strong technical background with in depth understanding of printer functionality and printer/network security. This is a full-time, long-term position with Monday-Friday day shift hours. This is a hybrid schedule with the current onsite requirement of 2-3 days per week; please note this is subject to change at any time based upon client requirements. You also must reside locally to the client-site in Boise, Idaho.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Verifying printer configurations.
  • Writing automated test scripts.
  • Executing various test types.
  • Contributing to test engineering strategy for Comon Criteria Certification.
  • May be asked to help create engineering level documentation required for printer certification.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned. 

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A strong technical background with in depth understanding of printer functionality and printer/network security.
  • MFP knowledge at a test engineer level of the following:
    • Knowledge of MFP functions and features.
    • Knowledge of MFP design and development process.
    • Knowledge of MFP testing processes including security vulnerability and penetration testing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to include the following:
    • Ability to communicate with HP customer, third party test labs and HP developers.
    • Ability to produce detailed and precise documents needed for certification review.
  • Testing skills to include:
    • Test writing that verifies strict conformance to high level industry standard.
    • Experience writing automated tests on C# and Python environments.
    • High level test review to verify and characterize defects for HP development teams.
    • Experience with test execution planning and scheduling. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience with Common Criteria Certification Program.
