POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for a fully remote, experienced Software Development Engineer (SDE) with a strong foundation in data science and statistics. In the short term, this role will focus on data processing and Power BI reporting. In the longer term, the engineer will expand into broader projects requiring strong programming capabilities in C# and Python.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can bridge software engineering and data science, delivering both immediate business insights and scalable solutions for the future.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Design, develop, and maintain data processing pipelines to support business and client needs.
Build and optimize Power BI reports for data visualization and decision support.
Apply statistical methods and machine learning techniques to analyze datasets and extract insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Write clean, efficient, and scalable code in C# and Python for long-term engineering projects.
Ensure best practices in data quality, performance, and security are followed.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
5 years of experience in software development or data engineering.
Strong background in data science and statistics (machine learning knowledge preferred).
Hands-on experience with data processing and ETL pipelines.
Proficiency with Power BI for reporting and visualization.
Strong coding skills in C# and Python.
Solid understanding of system design and coding best practices.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Azure Data Factory or other cloud-based data platforms.
Familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure and modern data engineering tools.
