Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Cloud Solution Architect (CSA), you will focus on Microsoft Identity (Entra ID) and Security, as well as Microsoft Exchange On-Premises/Online solutions. You will provide enterprise customers in the Japanese market with original equipment manufacturer (OEM)-level technical support, architectural consulting, and solution delivery to help them optimize their identity and security systems, improve the reliability of their Exchange environments, and ensure seamless integration with Microsoft cloud services.

This position operates on a hybrid work model: on-site technical support will be required based on client needs, with the remainder of the time spent working remotely from home.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • As a technical expert, provide clients with architecture design, implementation, and optimization recommendations for Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Microsoft Security solutions, and Exchange (On-Premises & Online)
  • Analyze clients' existing identity and security systems and develop optimization plans based on Microsoft technology stacks
  • Design and implement Exchange migration plans (on-premises to cloud, hybrid deployment)
  • Provide second-line/third-line support at the manufacturer level to quickly resolve complex technical issues
  • Provide training and best practice guidance to client IT teams
  • Collaborate closely with Microsoft's local Japanese team, global support team, and partners to ensure high-quality project delivery

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Over 5 years of experience in Microsoft Identity & Security architecture design and implementation
  • In-depth understanding of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) and its advanced features (Conditional Access, MFA, PIM, Identity Protection, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Exchange On-Premises and Exchange Online architecture design and migration implementation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Security technology stack (Defender, Sentinel, Purview, etc.)
  • Experience in integrating hybrid identity and hybrid Exchange deployments
  • Experience in providing manufacturer-level customer support (ability to handle complex issues and respond quickly)
  • Excellent Japanese and English communication skills (spoken and written)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working with large Japanese companies and multinational corporations
  • Familiarity with Japanese security and privacy compliance requirements (e.g., APPI)
