Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for a highly organized and proactive Project Manager to oversee day-to-day operations and governance for an engineering team of 60+ people. The ideal candidate should have strong experience managing large teams, tracking performance, and ensuring accountability across all functions. This role does not require technical or coding expertise but demands operational sharpness, leadership, and discipline in project oversight.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

  • Manage and monitor a team of 60 to 80 engineers, ensuring high productivity and task completion.
  • Track daily activities of each team member — including login/logout time, task progress, and work reports.
  • Prepare and deliver daily status reports and Monthly Business Reviews (MBR) in coordination with team leads.
  • Oversee fulfillment of client requirements by ensuring the team delivers on expectations.
  • Own all aspects of operational governance — including attendance, leave tracking, and team availability.
  • Work closely with each employee to support performance, resolve issues, and maintain morale.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal escalations and process improvement.
  • Support the team in resolving any blockers or concerns impacting delivery or engagement.
  • Strong skills in creating decks and presentations for clients, and providing support in building MBRs, QBRs, and daily reporting.
  • Capable of effectively communicating with various stakeholders and client points of contact, while proactively taking ownership of multiple products.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • 5-10 years of experience in project or operations management roles.
  • Proven experience managing teams of 60 to 80 members.
  • Strong organizational and reporting skills; attention to detail is a must.
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to coordinate across multiple time zones and stakeholders.
  • PMP certification highly preferred.
  • Aidtional project management certification.
  • Must be based in a Tier-1 city: Hyderabad, Bangalore, Delhi, Pune, or Noida.
  • Strong verbal , spoken and written English.
  • Occasional infrequent in person activity may be required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working with engineering or tech teams (even in a non-technical role).
  • Familiarity with workforce tracking tools and reporting dashboards.
