POSITION SUMMARY:

Our Redmond-based client is seeking a Service Engineer for a Hybrid based position in Redmond, WA.

 

This role requires working 3 days a week Onsite. 

 

Our Client is seeking an experienced Azure Service Engineer to support, maintain, and optimize our Azure-based infrastructure. This role will involve monitoring services, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the high availability and performance of our cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure services, infrastructure management, and cloud-based IT support.

Responsibilities

  • Automate and Optimization: Develop scripts and use tools like Azure Automation, PowerShell, and Azure CLI to automate routine tasks, enhance operational efficiency, and optimize costs.
  • Incident and Problem Management: Respond to service-related incidents, troubleshoot root causes, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively, minimizing the impact on end-users.
  • Service Monitoring and Maintenance: Use Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics to continuously monitor the health, performance, and reliability of Azure services, addressing any issues proactively to maintain uptime.
  • Document and Knowledge Sharing: Document troubleshooting steps, operational procedures, and system configurations, building a knowledge base to support quick resolution of future issues and enable team collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Must have 2 years of experience with proficiency in Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Networking, and Azure Storage.
  • Must have 2 years of experience with strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Azure CLI) for automation and task simplification.
  • Must have 2 years of experience with troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, particularly in a cloud-based environment.
  • Must have 2 years of experience with Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, particularly in a cloud-based environment.
  • Should be proficient in Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Networking, and Azure Storage.
  • Should have experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Azure Monitor, and Application Insights.
  • Should have scripting skills (PowerShell, Azure CLI) for automation and task simplification.
  • Should have experience with identity and access management using Azure Active Directory.

  • A competitive pay range of $60 - $64/hr (depending on experience).
  • Position Location: Hybrid (Redmond, WA)
  • 15 days per year of Paid Time Off (PTO).
  • 9 paid holidays per year (which includes 1 personal floating holiday).
